new niri release with some nice interactions

definitely sort of acme-like. nice that it's more constrained than classic overlapping windows. wonder if the spatiality is easier ot remember too

iOS is softer than macOS is softer than Niri is softer than [other tiling WMs (are softer than …)]
actually I think Niri is softer than macOS.. depending maybe on configured animations

in my experience it mostly is, in part because they're arranged vertically (which I didn't really like at first)
just added a second monitor for the first time a few days ago, which is really interesting and makes each workspace feel more like an extension of each monitor
and I overall like it better
but the workspace location is a bit too fluid / not-fixed in my mind and I do get a bit lost; workspaces get fairly messy
I find myself almost never using this feature
also I think I get lost less on my laptop than I did on my (significantly more spacious) single-monitor desktop
but I haven't really worked properly on it very much
