I’ve been using one cc thread all day and having it spawn others to do things in this general area
originally was having it do sega genesis and snes soundchip emulation as seen here edited
and then saw a tweet suggesting the use of supercollider https://supercollider.github.io/
so asked the main opus to fork and have another pick a different song to cover with it, leading to this one (my fav) edited
asked for three more supercollider covers and looking forward to see if similar or better quality
Also did you mean earlier that you were working on a music ai tool?

and also this UI last week (or week before actually I think) for me to give feedback
this (https://audio.fjpaz.net) is basically designed for working w/ AI
the idea is that it’s like gdocs’s comment system
but for track segments in a WIP
I wanted it to work for human <> human,
and/or human <> AI,
and/or human <> AI <> human
Josh
the reason specifically that I prompted for this to be made was that
I had given claude (Opus 5.5) some MIDIs and wanted to see how well it could prepare some instrumentation, FX etc
to see how nice its renditions might sound
and I was quite impressed overall but some tracks had some problems (since it can’t hear; it can only use waveforms and other data to look at / intuit what the vibe would be)
so I wanted to try marking up the audio directly
basically similar flow to vibecoding a webapp.. just pointing out the issues for it to look at, take into account and try fixing
layers

I’d like it to annotate not only the layers of time but also the layers of sound. … We can take a couple of cues from SoundCloud. SoundCloud isn’t precise, and it isn’t deep …
And yet something about its simplicity is really clean. Maybe … this can be its own studio for listening <> annotation edited
